Have questions about the proposed school bond?

Attend a community Open House on February 18 or March 2, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 p.m., in the William Holliday Dome.

Learn about what the bond proposal would fix, which includes facility maintenance, infrastructure improvements, and long-range planning for district needs.

District leaders, architects, and financial experts will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Both sessions will offer the same information. All community members are welcome.

Each time Mrs. Clark's class gets a compliment from another adult, they earn a handful of pompoms. When they fill the jar, they vote on a reward. Chick Fil A was a very special one!

William Holliday Elementary opened in 1959, and Pontiac Junior High opened in 1976. These buildings were constructed decades ago and no longer meet today’s safety expectations, accessibility requirements, or educational needs.

The bond referendum would allow the district to address these needs in a cost and time-efficient manner, complete state-mandated repairs, and create a learning environment where all students can succeed. 🏫

The St. Louis Dairy Council visited first grade on Thursday to discuss local farmers and each cow the classes adopted. Students learned about dairy farm tools, what the cows eat and how they are cared for. All three classes chose a cow to adopt at the beginning of the school year.

West Junior High is hosting a winter warm-up tonight at their volleyball game. They were asking fans and players to bring warmth, dignity, and comfort to the community. They were asking for donations of things such as gloves, scarves or hats. Way to support a good cause Pontiac volleyball team.!!

Project Cupid on Y98 FM is a community initiative in partnership with St. Louis-area schools, where students create Valentine's Day cards for seniors in nursing homes to combat loneliness and spread cheer. The radio station's morning show, The Bret Mega Show, will visit our school and pick up the valentines on February 2nd at 11:15 AM to gather these handmade valentines for delivery. The goal of the Cupid Project is to bring joy to elderly residents in nursing homes during Valentine's season. It is meant to emphasize kindness, philanthropy, and connecting generations, along with its mission to fight loneliness. The radio station then arranges for the cards to be distributed throughout the area. More than 30 schools are participating.
Thank you to Mrs. Poe for calling into the station and volunteering Pontiac!

Ms. Debbie surprised Mr. Stultz's class with Krispy Kreme doughnuts on Friday morning! She sent an email saying: As a thank you to you and your 5th grade students for always collecting the recycling and sweeping the pre-k playground for us, I have set some Krispy Kreme donuts on your desk.
I appreciate your kindness. Have a fun Friday. Ms. Debbie

Mr. Stultz's class was very thankful to receive this kindness!
